Is your garage door sensor yellow? If it is that’s ok, it should be. On LiftMaster and chamberlain garage door openers you will have one yellow( or amber) and one green colored led light on your safety sensors. The yellow light signifies the sending eye and the green light is the receiving eye.
Green senor is flashing
If your sensors are both lit up and solid they are functioning normally. If the green light is flashing they are misaligned or the sending sensor ( the yellow one) has a wiring issue or has gone bad. You should start by attempting to adjust the sensors to ensure they are properly aligned. Just loosen the wing nut and tilt the sensor up or down to make sure they are straight. You will know you have fixed it when the light stops flashing.
Led Lights are not lit up
If neither light is lit up then there is a wiring issue or the sensors have gone bad. If this is the case you may need to replace the sensors or the wiring.
